In order for the fit to be as accurate as possible, the initial topographies must be of good quality. The SimuLENS® manual details how to achieve this.

The correct lens diameter is also critical for an accurate fit. Unfortunately, SimuLENS® (like any other similar platform) does not always accurately determine the corneal diameter from which the lens diameter is calculated.
To ensure that the lens diameter is a good match for the corneal diameter in each case, it is advised that a small trial set is used.
